I'm here bored at work (just about off though, yay!) and decided to write a quick post. Neil and I have been married for over 3 months now! I cannot believe how FAST it has gone by. Marriage is so much easier than I thought it would be, maybe it's because I have such an easy going husband. I just feel so blessed. I am so thankful for Neil, my family, my friends (who I miss a lot!), for school, for where we live, etc. Here are a few things I've learned in a little over three months of marriage: 1st- Cooking is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, just time consuming. 2nd- I really, really appreciate all the cleaning my mom did to keep our house clean growing up. It takes a LOT of cleaning to keep a house clean. 3rd- I now like shopping for decorations more than clothes (suprising I know), and 4th- I appreciate Neil more each day because of how awesome he is!! Oh, and I really love this picture. He's so cute! :) That's all.

Sunday Picnic
Neil and I decided to go up the canyon for a picnic after church! It was so so pretty and we had lots of fun. I love the pretty leaves right now..so excited for Fall and Halloween!
The BEST pasta salad ever- it's Neil's sister's recipe. |
Mom's salsa and chips, our favorite snack! |
Can you tell how HARD it is to get a normal picture of Neil?! |
Finally! |
Random picture from another picnic we had this week at Salem Pond. I guess we're really into picnics lately. :) |
Oh..and my little bro went to his FIRST dance yesterday. How cute are they?! |

We love you Heather and Dan!!
Our good friends Heather and Dan are moving this weekend to New York. We're sad to see them go but are excited for them! We have had lots of fun with them and are grateful to have them as friends. Good luck Heath and Dan!
Also, this week, I put up a few decorations. I know, I know, it's not "time" to put up Halloween decorations yet, but I was too excited. I love this time of year!

St. George
For Labor Day, my family went down to St. George to get away for a few days. They invited Neil and I, but of course he couldn't go because of work. :( I still really wanted to go so I invited my best friend Liza! It was a super quick trip, but we had lots of fun. I'm glad we went. I was a little nervous going with Liza because the last time we took a trip together (back in February) this is what ended up happening (along with a lot more fun things):
Haha...luckily, this time we made it to St. George safely and had a fun time. Thanks mom and dad! And thanks Liza for coming!
Liza in our room. |
We were excited about our big closet/dressing room. |
We loved the little cove, especially my dad..haha. |
Hanging out in the condo. |
The sweetest house ever, they had these "wire animals" all throughout their yard. |
Pretty temple. |
At the hot tub. |
Getting ready to come back home. |
Just a random picture of Neil and I before I left. |
